Upcoming Android phones 2016

Upcoming Android phones 2016

2015 was a year of selfie and budget phones. And undoubtedly there has been an open war among the top home grown manufacturers with its budget phones . Let alone all the budget manufacturers, all the top notch phone brands also had come up with some of the impressive set of phones.

The leading names among Android phones were the Xiaomi and Sony this year. Not to forget the other new entrants, OnePlus, Oppo and Asus Zenfone phones also created a wave in the Android market. So having our heads occupied with all these phones, we have another year coming up with all the mind blowing set of phones.

Putting light on the Upcoming Android phones 2016, here is a list of phones that we are probably gonna see in the coming year.

Upcoming Android phones 2016

So the coming year awaits a new phone from LG for the G series. Now that the fingerprint scanner has become one of the common features, LG G5 could turn out to be bit unique.

Apparently, LG G5 could be coming with the smart eye scanner. And that is something that we don’t see with many phones. If we can trust a few more hints for the phone, LG G5 could come with a 21MP rear camera.

2. Samsung Galaxy S7:

The next obvious pick is from our very own Samsung. The company does not fail to show up with its list of enticing phones every passing year. And even with 2016, its the same. One variant that we know could be coming from the company is for the Galaxy S series.

The series that has been pretty much in the hide from quite sometime, might get a hype with this launch. Android Marshmallow and a powerful hardware is something that we can look forward to with the phone.

3. Xiaomi Mi 6

The Chinese brand definitely made Android lovers fall head over heels with its set of phones. And no wonder the company will continue to steal hearts with its upcoming phones. And one of them will be for the Mi series. At the moment, Xiaomi’s concentration is all on the Mi 5 series of phone. So probably with the coming year, we will see something for the Mi 6.

4GB RAM and a 4200mAh battery is something that we have hints for the Xiaomi Mi 6. But we will have a definite list of specifications for the phone only after the official launch.

4. Oppo Find 9

Though we did not see any much phones from the company this year, 2016 could probably be the year for Oppo. The company seems to be launching a new phone dubbing it as the Oppo Find 9.

And rumored specs of Oppo Find 9 include a 4GB RAM and 8MP selfie camera. But like Oppo does for all its phones, the phone might be priced in the high end range.

5. Sony Xperia Z6:

Continuing its line of Xperia Z phones, Sony will be launching the Sony Xperia Z6 in the coming year. Rumors have it that post the launch of this phone, Sony will be coming up with different variants for the Sony Xperia Z6.

And as far the specs of Xperia Z5 are concerned, the phone could come with a the new Type C USB port. For all we know with the new Sony phones, Xperia Z6 could be waterproof, dustproof and also shockproof! So now that’s an icing on the cake.

6. HTC One M10

This new launch will be a successor for the HTC M9. And since the earlier variant of the phone has set its standards in the top end of phones, HTC One M10 is not going to be any different. Though the company tried innovative designs with M9, it does not follow the same with M10.

The design and looks of HTC One M10 are kept very simple. And talking about the specifications of the phone, it could come with 3500mAh battery and a 4GB RAM.

7. Asus Z1 Titan:

Asus stunned buyers with its amazing phone having the large 4GB RAM. And no wonder the company will still surprise us in 2016 with its phone backed up with a powerful hardware.

As of now there is no rumored list of specs for the phone that we could expect. But we can just hope for the best!

So that is all the list we have for Upcoming Android phones 2016. And the list could just keep going with the passing months!

Leaked: Sony Ericsson's upcoming Android phone

Pictures leaked by a Danish site appear to reveal Sony Ericsson's upcoming Android phone, and it looks like a good one.

If rumours are to be believed Sony Ericsson's Android phone will be part of the XPERIA range

We know for some time now that Sony Ericsson (SE) is working on a Google Android based mobile phone, but the company has been keeping mum on details. However, pictures leaked by a Danish site appear to reveal Sony Ericsson’s upcoming Android phone, and it looks like a good one.

Code-named Rachael, Sony Ericsson’s Android phone will be announced later this year, according to information obtained by the Danish Mobil magazine.

The phone will part of SE’s XPERIA series, which so far includes the Windows Mobile-based X1 model.

And as SE joined the Open Handset Alliance in December last year, it was shaping out quite clearly that the Swedish company would join the Android-running smartphone army.

Mobil says that the Android-loving SE Rachel is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon platform (QSD8250), wich would give the phone processor speeds of up to 1GHz and 7.2Mbit per second HSPA downlink speeds.

The leaked pictures also show the SE’s upcoming Android phone featuring an 8.1-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash. At the top of the phone a 3.5mm headphone jack and a miniUSB port are also present. No specific details on the phone’s display size or resolution were released, but the Dutch magazine says it has a pressure-sensitive touchscreen.

Some of the specifications of SE’s Android phone are looking very good in comparison to other smartphones on the market today.

An 8.1-megapixel camera would be most powerful on an Android handset yet, and remarkably better than the 3-megapixel camera on the latest iPhone 3GS. On the Android realm, the HTC Hero and the Samsung Galaxy have only a 5-megapixel camera.

It’s highly likely that SE’s Rachel will run on the upcoming 2.0 version of Google Android operating system, which is also expected to be released towards the end of this year.

As for Adobe Flash, it is yet unclear whether this phone will feature this capability.

Microsoft’s Upcoming Windows 10 Mobile Test Build Will Support A Majority Of Lumia Phones

Microsoft may be working on ways to get Windows 10 to run on Android devices, but with the next major test release of Windows 10 Mobile will be hitting a majority of Windows Phones.

The company released the first test build of Windows 10 Mobile in February, but it supported just a handful of Lumia devices – 630, 635, 636, 638, 730 and 830, to be precise.

In a March 27 blog post however, the company said that the second test build (which will not be available until the first week of April, will support a majority of Windows mobile devices. The list is as follows:

    • Lumia 1020
    • Lumia 1320
    • Lumia 1520
    • Lumia 520
    • Lumia 525

    • Microsoft Lumia 532
    • Microsoft Lumia 532 Dual SIM
    • Microsoft Lumia 640 Dual SIM
    • Microsoft Lumia 535 Dual SIM

The biggest exception from the above list of possible supported devices is the Lumia 930, which Microsoft says is due to a bug unique to that devices which it is still trying to track down.

According to Microsoft, the first Windows 10 Mobile build wasn’t supported across a wide spectrum of Lumia devices due to very tight OS partitions, and the partition stitching feature code that required to support the above mentioned devices came in late last week.
